KILSYTH FROG POND

Project Description

There is nothing better than a warm summer night and the sound of frog calls filling the air with their beautiful relaxing melodies!

Habitat destruction is the number one cause of our amphibian’s radical decline in numbers. But all is not lost! We can help make our home environment another one’s home by constructing ponds, and incorporating native fish like Murray River Rainbow Fish and Southern Pygmy Perch to name a few. By building a frog pond it is one way to boost their numbers and create a beautiful feature for your house and garden.

This pond was constructed by Semken Landscaping.

Planting by STEM Landscape Architecture & Design.
